The wearing of a school uniform is a requirement at Northlands International, and this carefully considered decision is based on several reasons, one of which is that the uniform helps eliminate potential differences and divisions that may arise based on students’ clothing.
The uniform consists of either a T-shirt for Cubs or a polo shirt for Juniors and Seniors, along with a jumper both featuring the Northlands International logo. The remaining clothing items (trousers, shorts, or skirts that do not go above the knee) are chosen by families, provided they are dark blue (NO JEANS). On days with sporting activities, students must wear blue tracksuit-style trousers.
Children with long hair must keep it tied back, and dangling earrings are not permitted.
All clothing should be labelled with the child’s name to avoid loss or mix-up, especially of jumpers.
We recommend wearing comfortable shoes; for children not yet able to tie laces, we suggest slip-on shoes or those with velcro straps.
Uniforms can be purchased at the school office and are not included in the tuition fees.
